How do I earn points? There are several ways to accrue Loyalty points. They can be divided into three categories: Onsite Actions, Share Socially, and Connect/Follow. Onsite actions include: Making a purchase, creating an account via social login, commenting on our blog, enrolling in the loyalty program, subscribing to our newsletter, and referring a friend to purchase. Social Share actions: Friend referral from a Facebook share, friend referral with a twitter share, friend referral from an email share, or friend referral from a google share. Connect and Follow actions: Connect on Facebook, Twitter, or Pinterest.
Do I need an MBV account to start getting points? To accumulate points, having a Mt Baker Vapor account is a prerequisite. This is the only way we’ll be able to track your loyalty point progress.
How do I redeem my points? For step by step details, please see this link.
What happens if I forget to apply the store credit on my order? Your store credit will remain on your account until the credit is used for a future purchase. We are unable to cancel or issue a refund for the order you have already placed.
Do my points expire? Points earned before April 25, 2016 will be expired on April 25, 2017. All points earned before April 25, 2016 will be nullified next month, so if you have some points squirreled away, be sure to use them, and soon!
Starting on April 26, 2017, Loyalty Points will have a 365-day lifespan. If you earned points any time this last year, those points will be valued until the one-year anniversary of the points being attributed. This will be the process, moving forward. Points earned after April 25, 2016 will expire on a rolling, everyday-basis. Just know that one year is the magic number. Click here for more information on this new policy.
What are my points worth? Loyalty points convert in increments of 250. 250 points equals $5; 500 points equals $10; 750 points equals $15; and 1000 points equals $20. Those points really add up, so get active with Mt Baker Vapor!
I changed my email address and my points disappeared. What happened?Loyalty points are tracked by the email address associated with your MBV account. When you change your email address for your account, the system can no longer track those points, and you would start earning points on the new email address. Changing the email address associated with your Mt Baker Vapor account will result in the permanent deletion of any points earned under your old email address. If you would like to change email addresses, be sure to contact our Customer Service team first, to ensure that you do not lose access to your loyalty points!
I referred my friend to MBV. Do I get points for that? In order for a referral to result in points, you’ll have to click the links under the “Share Socially” section on our Loyalty Program page.
I just made a purchase, but I’m not seeing any points for it. What happened? Loyalty points from a purchase will appear in your account 48 hours after the point your order is shipped. Good things come to those who wait!
How do I get points for Social Media shares? First you will need to share a link to Mt Baker Vapor via the buttons under the “Share Socially” section on our Loyalty Program page. Someone will then need to click on the link you shared. If that person proceeds to make a purchase, you will receive points. Be sure to share as often as you can, to ensure someone clicks your links!
Can I share my points? No. Since the points are attributed to your email address, the points cannot be relocated to a different email address. As much as we love to spread the love, you’ll have to keep your points to yourself.
